How to get to the Wedding

Easiest by car, we are just a few minutes from the Taconic Parkway and Route 23. Consult your GPS. Nearby, the city of Hudson is very lively and fun, and approximately 20 minutes from the Solovay house. If you’re staying in Hudson, and would like a designated driver, we will provide a bus that will take you to and from the wedding. The bus will pick you up at 3:45 P.M. along Public Square Park facing the St. Charles Hotel. There will be two rounds of buses to take you back to Hudson, one at 12:30 A.M. and one at 2:30. In general, there are very limited cabs or Ubers available up here!

Heading Upstate

The easiest way to get upstate from N.Y.C. is to take the Amtrak from Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station to Hudson. From Hudson you’re about 20 minutes from the Solovay house. We plan to spend time in Hudson during the weekend so it’s a good option for a place to stay. You won’t need to rent a car if you stay in Hudson as it’s walkable. However, if you rent a car, more options open up to you. We suggest staying anywhere within a 20 minute radius of the Solovay house. Some towns to look in are Hillsdale, Copake, Chatham, Hudson, Philmont, etc. Keep in mind that we will provide transport to and from the wedding from Hudson only.

If You’re Wondering What to Wear

We suggest festive cocktail attire. We want you to be comfortable in what you wear: days can be hot, and in the evening it cools down so please bring a layer. The wedding is in a field so please wear shoes you feel comfortable in when you walk in grass.

Friday Night at Red Dot

If you’re around on Friday, we are going to Red Dot on Warren Street in Hudson from 7:30pm-10pm for some drinks and light snacks. We won't collect RSVPs for this, but please show up if you are around and say hello. We love you.
